There is a wonderful selection of Villas in Vilamoura for both holiday and rental and to purchase.
For larger families of those of you who want a special holiday there are 100´s of villas to rent for your holiday.
Heading off to a villa for your summer holidays makes you feel that you are in for a real treat. One top tip ww can give you is to think about spending half a day on this years holiday looking at villas in Vilamoura for next years holiday!
Really the first decisions and most you have to make are:
Although these seem like obvious enough things to consider it's surprising how many people to fail to ignore even these very basics. How much you have to spend really governs everything. Paying more doesn't necessarily mean that the villa is in a better location for you. For example some of the highest priced villas available for holiday renting in Vilamoura are front line golf villas. This is perfect if you are a golfer but may not be a good as somewhere near the marina if you don't have a car or have kids.
When considering your bedrooms its better to think in terms of how many people does the villa sleep. A lot of villas normally have a master bedroom suite with a large double bed and the remainder of the bedrooms have twin beds. Some even have sofa beds in one of the reception rooms. This means that in effect a three bedroom villas can often sleep 8 people in comfort.
For me the whole point of having a villa is having your own private pool. Your own private pool can have advantages and disadvantages. If you have kids the communal pools that you find in modern apartment complexes are great ways for them to meet other kids and keep there selves occupied. Sometimes by the end of a two week holiday in a private villa with a private pool the kids can start getting incredibly bored.
Lastly it is important to consider the location of your holiday villa in Vilamoura. There is no point being in a beautiful villa that is 15 minutes walk form the nearest shops, bars and restaurants if you have no intention of hiring a car.
